Masked man robs Citibank; surveillance photo released

HENDERSON, NV (FOX5) -

Henderson police said a masked man robbed a Henderson bank at gunpoint Friday morning.

The incident occurred just after 10 a.m. at the Citibank at 10211 south Eastern Avenue, near St. Rose Parkway.

According to Michelle French, of Henderson police, a black adult male entered the bank and yelled at everyone to get on the floor. In the process of attempting to grab cash the suspect’s firearm went off towards the floor.

No injuries were reported in the incident, French said.

It was not immediately known if or what the suspect took, French said.

The suspect left the bank on foot and is remains on the loose, French said. Police described the man responsible as about 6'2" tall  and 220 pounds. He was wearing all black clothing, a black mask and black gloves. He also had a black backpack and black handgun.
