HENDERSON, NV (FOX5) -

With his sights on the second presidential debate of the campaign season Sunday, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is set to rally supporters in Henderson on Wednesday.

Henderson Pavilion is holding the Trump-for-President event at 11:30 a.m. Earlier in the morning, though, eager Trump supporters were in line outside the venue before sunrise to get the best seat in the house.

Trump's appearance comes a day after the vice presidential debate in which his running mate, Gov. Mike Pence, R-IN, sparred with Hillary Clinton's vice president pick, Sen. Tim Kaine, D-VA.

A CNN poll gave Pence the edge over Kaine after the debate.

After Trump's stop in Henderson, Kaine is slated to appear a day later for a Hillary for Nevada event in Las Vegas.

Trump and Clinton are expected back in the area for the third and final debate before Election Day. This will be staged at UNLV's Thomas & Mack Center on Oct. 19.
