Fire damages Las Vegas apartment

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Clark County fire and Las Vegas Fire and Rescue responded to an apartment fire Saturday night. 

It occurred just before 10:30 p.m. at the Rancho Destino Apartments in the 4300 block of Durango Drive, near Flamingo Road. 

According to Assistant Fire Chief Larry Haydu, of Clark County fire, arriving crews found a fire on the ground floor of an apartment. 

Firefighters knocked down the blaze in less than 5 minutes, Haydu said. The fire was contained to one unit. 

No injuries were reported, Haydu said. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation, Haydu said. 

Estimated damage has not been determined, Haydu said.
