LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

The Clark County Coroner's Office identified a motorcyclist who died in a crash in the southwest Las Vegas Valley on Wednesday.

Boban Karac, 27, of Las Vegas, died in the incident, medical examiners said. The person's cause and manner of death remained pending.

Nevada Highway Patrol responded to the intersection of Decatur Boulevard and Wagon Trail Avenue, near the 215 Southern Beltway, just before 2:30 a.m.

Witnesses told NHP the motorcyclist lost control of his bike and crashed into a guardrail at that location.

Medical personnel transported the rider to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Witnesses informed troopers that the motorcycle was seen speeding and operating recklessly before the crash.
