Companion concert venue near T-Mobile Arena sets open date

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

When MGM Resorts laid out plans for its new Strip-side entertainment avenue, The Park, T-Mobile Arena was seen as the anchor of the development. 

The other major piece of the outdoor thoroughfare is preparing to officially open Dec. 17.

Park Theater at Monte Carlo Las Vegas tapped Fleetwood Mac member Stevie Nicks as the venue's first show. The Pretenders will be the opening act to Nicks.

Tickets for Stevie Nicks go on sale on Oct. 3 at 10 a.m. American Express cardmembers get first crack at VIP packages on Thursday.

Pre-sales through Live Nation and Facebook start Friday. Tickets can be purchased at this link.

The new Park Theater boasts 5,300 seats, as well as a custom 40-foot by 80-foot LED wall.

Other acts for the new venue will be added at later dates.
