LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Only two days after it first graced downtown Las Vegas in all of its barenaked glory, Naked Trump, the controversial statue that popped up in cities across the U.S., was reportedly vandalized.

Instagram photos posted early Friday showed the statue made in the likeness of Donald Trump covered in graffiti and laying on the ground, with only its feet left on the pedestal.

The Las Vegas vandalism follows similar acts involving statues in New Jersey and Miami. The South Florida sculpture was reportedly stolen, with it being loaded onto a pickup truck.

Just days before the vandalism, the statue stood within velvet ropes just off Fremont and 6th streets.

Replica iterations of Naked Trump previously appeared in New York's Central Park and in San Francisco. The statues were conceived by Las Vegas artist Ginger

Observers were keen to point out the statue's proximity to the Life is Beautiful footprint, which is situated north of Fremont and east of Las Vegas Boulevard. The festival stated it has no involvement with the statue's commission.
