Las Vegas Metro police were involved in a standoff with a robbery suspect Tuesday afternoon.

Police said the person responsible for a business robbery was barricaded inside a home located on South Fort Apache Road, near West Hacienda Avenue.

The standoff started about 2:43 p.m., and police believe the barricaded person robbed a nearby convenience store.

About 5:20 p.m., police reported a suspect was taken into custody following a short foot pursuit. Police, however, said there may be a second suspect who remains on the loose.
