19-year-old identified in North Las Vegas fatal shooting

NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -

Medical examiners identified a 19-year-old man who was shot and killed in North Las Vegas over the weekend.

According to the Clark County Coroner's Office, Oscar Barragan died of multiple gunshot wounds as a result of a homicide.

Barragan was the victim in a shooting that took place in the 3000 block of Wright Avenue, near Belmont Street and Lake Mead Boulevard, at 12:40 a.m. Sunday.

Officers located Barragan suffering from gunshot wounds at the location. He was transported to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

As of Tuesday, no arrests were made, and a motive was not disclosed. Police said a small blue pickup truck may have been involved in the incident.
