Police: Victim shot twice in central Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Las Vegas Metro police were investigating a shooting that happened Thursday night in the area of Pennwood Avenue and South Valley View Boulevard, just south of West Sahara Avenue.

Police said the shooting, which happened after 7 p.m., was prompted by an argument between two people.

The victim was shot in the chest and the leg, police said. It’s not believed the victim’s injuries are life-threatening.
