Medical examiners identified two men who were fatally shot Tuesday in the northwest Las Vegas Valley.

The Clark County Coroner's Office said both Deante Dixon, 24, and Charles Edward Warren Jr., 28, died of multiple gunshot wounds as a result of homicides.

Dixon and Warren were the victims in a shooting incident that happened at 6:13 p.m. in the 2200 block of North Torrey Pines Drive, near West Smoke Ranch Road, on Sept. 6.

Las Vegas Metro police said the victims were inside a vehicle when the shooting happened. Multiple shots were fired near the vehicle, and at least two people fled from the area before police arrived.

The incident marked the 115th and 116th homicides in Metro's jurisdiction this year.

Police urged anyone with information on the case to contact Metro's Homicide Section at 702-828-3521. Those wishing to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or leave information online at www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
