LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Medical examiners identified a woman who was fatally struck while crossing Maryland Parkway this past June.

On Tuesday, the Clark County Coroner's office said Ruthie Goudy, 65, of Las Vegas, died of multiple blunt force trauma as a result of a pedestrian-versus-vehicle crash.

According to Las Vegas Metro police, Goudy was crossing Maryland Parkway, just north of Vegas Valley Drive, outside of a marked crosswalk. A southbound Dodge Durango struck Goudy.

Police noted the woman was taken to the hospital with a normal heart rate and blood pressure but died about three hours after the incident. Metro's Fatal Detail was not called to the crash scene at that time.

The incident represented Metro's 70th traffic-related fatality this year.
