LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A tip helped police in Bullhead City, AZ to arrest a person suspected of setting off pipe bombs around the town in recent weeks.

According to Bullhead City police, Philip Krikorian Jr., 48, was arrested Sunday on counts of misconduct involving weapons/prohibited possessor of a firearm and prohibited possessor of weapons.

Police said a person spotted Krikorian's pickup truck, which was identified as a vehicle that was last seen driving away from the scene of one of two device detonations last month.

Detectives made contact with Krikorian at his home, where materials that were consistent with those used in the earlier explosion were found outside of the residence. Police served a warrant on the home, where additional materials were found as well as a pistol.

In a records search, police found that Krikorian was contacted for a previous pipe bomb incident that happened near his home last year. He was not considered a suspect in that case but was noted for being uncooperative with police.

Police did not disclose whether any injuries resulted from the explosions.

Krikorian was booked into Mohave County Jail in Kingman. Additional charges are pending.
