LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

With Labor Day weekend approaching, law enforcement is reminding incoming revelers to "party smart" while going out on the Las Vegas Strip.

On Wednesday, Las Vegas Metro police, along with the Rape Crisis Center and nightlife company TAO Group, will give visitors and locals tips on safe partying under the Party Smart Campaign.

The campaign was introduced to help party-goers stay safe while enjoying their stay Las Vegas. According to the campaign's website, Party Smart wants to bring public awareness that encourages party-goers to prevent sexual violence by being an "active bystander." In addition, Party Smart trains dayclub and nightlife staff on how to spot, intervene and prevent predatory behavior.

The campaign, which has drawn support from celebrities including Britney Spears and Holly Madison, is set to re-introduce its guidelines at TAO Beach at 10:30 a.m.

The campaign is also drawing support from ride-share service Uber, which is offering free rides of up to $15 with promo code "PARTYSMARTLV" during the holiday weekend. The promo code also enables a $5 donation to the Rape Crisis Center.
