LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A Las Vegas Metro officer’s kindness left a lasting impression on a young Las Vegas girl.

Madelon Krueger and her daughter, Aunaleiyah, were at a local gas station when a few officers were fueling up their police vehicles Saturday night.

Krueger said her Aunaleiyah was excited to say “hi” and a female officer asked Aunaleiyah to follow her to her vehicle. The officer talked to Aunaleiyah and gave her a Cinderella figurine.

Krueger said the experience was beautiful and made a great impression on Aunaleiyah. She said Aunaleiyah experienced a life-threatening medical issue last year and every moment like this is a “beautiful act of kindness.”

In a Facebook post, Krueger said she would like to invite the officer for a cup of coffee.
