LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

The Blue Man Group Las Vegas performed show number 10,000 on Friday and helped a nonprofit in the process.

Blue Man has been performing on the Las Vegas Strip for more than 16 years and celebrated their milestone show with a special performance that benefited HELP of Southern Nevada.

All seats were priced at $10 and sold out within hours, according to a press release sent out after the show, with more than $7,800 to supply a homeless youth center with musical instruments.

The official drum choice for the show, DW Drums, also pledged to donate several complete drum kits to HELP of Southern Nevada.

The Blue Man Group has a partnership with the local nonprofit as part to encourage youth to pursue their musical interests according to a public relations press release.

More information about the Blue Man Group Las Vegas can be found here, and the group continues to perform at the Luxor hotel-casino.
