Crews respond to fire at Rumor Hotel, east of Vegas Strip

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A two-alarm fire erupted at a hotel property east of the Las Vegas Strip on Monday afternoon.

According to the Clark County Fire Department, fire crews were called to the Rumor Hotel on East Harmon Avenue near Paradise Road at 1:46 p.m.

Arriving firefighters found smoke coming from the two-story hotel. CCFD said a second alarm was requested during its response.

Crews were able to knock down the fire less than 15 minutes after the call.

Guests and staff at the hotel were evacuated safely and no injuries were reported.

A cause into the fire was under investigation.
