NLVPD: Man possibly shot during robbery

NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -

North Las Vegas police said a man may have been shot during a robbery Saturday morning. 

According to Officer Aaron Patty, of North Las Vegas police, the department received a call of a body being found at about 6 a.m. near Tonopah Avenue and Stocker Street. 

Police said they found a 51-year-old man, identified by the Clark County Coroner's Office as Marlon Osorio-Rivera, deceased at the scene from a possible gunshot wound.  

Citing the preliminary investigation, police said the Osorio-Rivera was on a sidewalk when he was shot. Detectives believe Osorio-Rivera may have been robbed at the time of the shooting. 

Police said they do not have a suspect in custody.
