LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Police are seeking the public’s help to develop new information on the homicide of a 60-year-old man in Las Vegas.

Officers will be in the area of Owens Avenue and Marion Drive Saturday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. for community outreach, to re-canvass where the incident happened, and generate new leads for the investigation.

Police said Heriberto Diaz-Marcial was found near the intersection on Feb. 20 at 1:16 a.m. with a gunshot wound. Diaz-Marcial was transported to UMC Trauma where he was later pronounced dead.

The investigation indicated Diaz-Marcial was walking in the area when he was confronted and shot by an unknown suspect or suspects. Diaz-Marcial may have been the victim of a robbery.

Police have not identified suspects in the case, but did release footage of a vehicle of interest.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact the Metro's homicide section at 702-828-3521, or by email. To remain anonymous, contact
Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
