LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Las Vegas Metro police said four people were shot in downtown Las Vegas Sunday morning.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting at 6:19 a.m. in the 200 block of North 3rd Street, near the Downtown Grand hotel-casino.

Arriving officers located four victims, two males, and two females with apparent gunshot wounds, police said. The four victims were transported to University Medical Center, where one male was listed in critical condition.

The investigation indicated two suspects were having a verbal argument on the sidewalk. As the victims walked by them, they exchanged comments. At one point, one suspect retrieved a firearm from a parked car. The suspect then fired at the victims. Then the suspects got in the car, and fired more rounds at the victims as they sped away.

Police described one suspect as a Black man in his late 20's to early 30's, 6'1" tall, and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a maroon long sleeve shirt and blue jeans. The other suspect was described as a light skinned Black man, also in his late 20's to early 30's, approximately 5'10", and last seen wearing an orange shirt and camouflage shorts.

Police said they are looking for a white four-door Lexus with a sunroof. It was last seen driving westbound from the scene.

The incident remains under investigation.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Metro's downtown area command at 702-828-4135, or to remain anonymous call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
