LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Joseph Griffin had a stay in Las Vegas recently and decided to chronicle his trip on the Strip through a GoPro camera.

Unfortunately, the Irishman unwittingly filmed the entire trip in selfie mode, with the lens pointed at the wide-eyed visitor and not the attractions he was describing.

Joseph Griffin returned to Ireland, gave the camera to his son, Evan, and the younger Griffin, who was bewildered by the botched filming, stitched together the footage in a four-minute clip uploaded to YouTube. The clip titled An Irishman In Vegas drew more than 7 million views since it was uploaded last Friday.

With that level of interest, the Las Vegas Visitors and Convention Authority decided to give Joseph Griffin a mulligan on the trip and invited he and his son to a second round of Las Vegas.

In An Irishman In Vegas Redo, the father-son pair get treated to a Vegas-style welcome at the airport, travel in style in a limousine, get put up in a suite at the Mirage, fly in a tour helicopter, gaze out from the High Roller and soar through Fremont Street Experience on Slotzilla. And, yes, Joseph Griffin filmed it the right way while also pointing a second camera at himself to catch his reaction.

On Friday, Joseph Griffin met with media members to recap his whole second trip to Las Vegas.
