Foxtail at SLS Las Vegas to launch summer concert series

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

 A new summer concert series on the Las Vegas Strip will draw musical favorites from the 1990s and 2000s, including Sir Mix-a-Lot, Hoobastank, P.O.D. and Plain White T's.

The Foxtail Pool at SLS Las Vegas announced the seven-night music series that will take place in July, August and September. The series, which is being produced with Vegas Seven magazine and Spyonvegas.com, kicks off July 4 with dance punk duo MSTRKRFT (pronounced "Mastercraft").

Tickets, which start at $20, go on sale Thursday. An all-access pass to all seven concerts is also being offered at $150.

The lineup includes the following acts:

  • July 4: MSTRKRFT;
  • July 11: Matisyahu with DJ After-Party at The Sayers Club;
  • July 18: Sir Mix-a-Lot, Tha Akaholiks, Treach and Kay Gee of Naughty by Nature, Young MC, Shock G of Digital Underground.
  • July 25*: Hoobastank, P.O.D. and Alien Ant Farm;
  • August 13: Matt and Kim;
  • August 15: Mystikal;
  • Sept. 12: Plain White T's.
