LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

The Clark County Coroner's Office has released the identity of the male employee who was fatally shot during a Walgreens robbery.

Las Vegas Metro police Friday evening reported they made an arrest in a deadly shooting and robbery earlier in the day.

Police said a male store clerk was shot and killed during a robbery at a Walgreens store located near Cheyenne Avenue and Durango Drive. The coroner has identified that clerk as 58 year-old Antonino Isnit, of Las Vegas.

According to the department's detective, Ray Steiber, a man entered the store just after 5 a.m., initiated a robbery and held Isnit and a female employee at gunpoint.

Steiber said the assailant was inside the store between 40 minutes and an hour. During that time, he shot and killed Isnit in a back office area. The female employee was unharmed.

Steiber described the robbery as a "targeted attack," indicating it was planned out ahead of time.

Detectives identified 25-year-old Jin Ackerman as a suspect in Friday morning's shooting and robbery as well as the robbery of a Walgreens located on West Desert Inn Road about 5 a.m. Wednesday. Detectives tracked Ackerman to a home in the 1600 block of April Shower Place. He was taken into custody by a SWAT team.

Walgreens on Friday afternoon issued the following statement to FOX5:

"We extend our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of our team member. We are looking into what we can do for the family and will be providing counseling for our staff."

Anyone with additional information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555. You may also leave information online at www.crimestoppersofnv.com.

Walgreens of Las Vegas has also set up a Wells Fargo memorial fund for the male employee who was killed. Those who wish to donate can do so at any Wells Fargo location, the account number for the fund is 1269016620.
