PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Authorities in Phoenix are seeking the public's help to find a gunman who held up a convince store earlier this month.

Phoenix police spokesman Sgt. Derek Elmore says the robbery happened Monday, Aug. 4 just before 9 p.m. at a Quick Stop store located in the 14000 block of north Cave Creek Road.

Elmore said the robber is seen on surveillance video in front of the store with a black handgun. He then pulls his shirt over his face and enters the store.

The two clerks in the store at the time are held up at gunpoint by the robber who demanded money, said Elmore. The clerks handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the robber fled the store on foot.

Elmore said the robber is a White or Hispanic Male, 5'09"- 5'11", 300 - 350 pounds, late teens to early 20's, wearing a black T-shirt, gray basketball shorts and black gloves.
