PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Bond has been set at $250,000 for a 25-year-old Arizona woman who faces manslaughter and drug charges after she allegedly ran a red light while she was on drugs and caused a fatal crash, according to police.

Authorities said Sarah Ramos drove through a red light on U.S. 60 eastbound about 7 a.m. on Aug. 28 and slammed into the driver's side door of another vehicle. The driver, Christine Gearhart, 51, died in the crash.

Emergency responders said as they were trying get Ramos out of the car, she was trying to get something under her seat. Detectives found a drug pipe under her seat.

Detectives said Ramos had signs of impairment.

She was arrested on one count of reckless manslaughter and one count of drug paraphernalia possession.

The bond was set after her appearance Thursday in Maricopa County Superior Court.
