Police: Toddler pulled from backyard pool in NLV

NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -

North Las Vegas police said a toddler was listed in extremely critical condition after being pulled from a backyard pool.

According to North Las Vegas police, the boy was pulled Monday from a pool located at a residence in the 7000 block of Seabirds Place, near Elkhorn Road and Aliante Parkway. 

Sgt. Chrissie Coon of NLV police said the boy's family was home at the time when the child some how got into the backyard. A family member found the boy in the pool.

Coon said the boy is believed to be about 20 months old.
