LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that one female is dead and another female is injured after a shooting near the Geisha House, near the 215 Beltway and Flamingo Road, early Saturday morning.

The LVMPD call center received multiple calls reporting a shooting in the parking lot of the restaurant at approximately 2:37 a.m. Patrol officers responded and located two females suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. As the suspect was leaving, police said he shot multiple rounds again, leaving the two victims with sustained gunshot wounds.

Detectives said the suspect is Carim Cruz, 27, a black male standing 6'2" and weighing 165 pounds. He is described as having black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen leaving in a dark blue, four-door Mercedes Benz with Nevada license plates.

Police said Cruz should be considered armed and dangerous.

The identity of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner's Office.
