LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified the man who lost his life in an early Saturday morning two-vehicle accident on 95 south at Flamingo Road.

Hexiquio Rios was a 25-year-old male and Las Vegas resident.

According to Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Loy Hixson, Rios was driving his car at a high rate of speed and rear-ended another car driven by a 22-year-old woman.

Troopers say both drivers lost control of their cars.

Hixson says Rios crashed into the wall on the right side of the road, was ejected from the car and plummeted over the overpass wall to his death.

Troopers say the female driver crashed into the opposite wall and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

It isn't clear if alcohol or drugs were a contributing factor in the accident, but troopers say toxicology tests will be performed.

The official cause and manner of death are still pending.
