LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Las Vegas Metro police said a man pulled a knife on a restaurant worker after placing an order at a food court over the weekend.

According to police, the holdup happened about 8:20 p.m. on Aug. 3 at a dining area on Las Vegas Boulevard.

The man placed an order with a restaurant, displayed a knife after ordering and then demanded money, police said. The suspect fled on foot after getting cash.

Police described the suspect as a black man, 18 to 20 years old, 5'10" and 140 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police said he was last seen wearing a red baseball cap with a dark brim and white logo, red-framed sunglasses, white, short-sleeve T-shirt, dark jeans and black and white shoes.

Police also said the suspect has a tattoo of a cross above his right temple.

Police urged anyone with information on the suspect to call Metro's Robbery Section at 702-828-3591 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
