The Clark County Coroner's Office confirmed a Las Vegas man pulled from Lake Mead on Wednesday died as a result of drowning.

Medical examiners said 33-year-old Dindo Gavarra's manner of death was of an accident.

According to the National Park Service, Gavarra went missing before noon Tuesday after he jumped from a houseboat to swim to shore with others.

Members of the National Park Service, Nevada Department of Wildlife and Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department conducted a two-day search of the area by air and water.

Rangers said that at about 4 p.m. on Wednesday family members who were searching the area with snorkel gear discovered what they thought was a body underwater. Metro rescue divers recovered the body, which was 13 feet underwater and about 75 feet from shore. There was no life jacket found.

The search continues for two swimmers who went missing July 20. A 53-year-old man was seen going underwater south of Willow Beach on Lake Mohave. Crews are also searching for a 25-year-old Las Vegas man who was seen going underwater near Lake Mead's Boulder Islands.
