LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Investigators have identified the man killed behind a grocery store Wednesday night.

The shooting happened about 8:50 p.m. behind a Food 4 Less grocery store located on East Sahara Avenue at Nellis Boulevard.

Investigators said a man, identified by the Clark County Coroner as 48-year-old Allen Padilla, was walking in an alley behind the store and encountered two other men. The three began arguing, and a single shot was fired. The two men then jumped into a dark-colored sedan and fled the scene. Padilla died at the scene.

The description of the two men who fled was extremely limited, according to police. One of them was last seen wearing a black shirt and jeans. The other was last seen wearing a gray shirt and shorts.

Anyone with information about the shooting was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
