LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Here's a list of some of the many Independence Day events being held across the Las Vegas Valley and Southern Nevada.

Unless otherwise noted, the events listed below are held on July 4.

Las Vegas

Mandalay Bay Beach - Starting at 8 p.m.

The sky above Mandalay Bay Beach will light up red, white and blue this Independence Day with a dazzling display of fireworks and a musical performance by the local classic rock band Phoenix. Guests of all ages can dig their feet into the sand or let the waves wash over them while enjoying the extravaganza Friday, July 4. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets priced at $20 and family four-packs priced at $60, not including applicable service charges and taxes, are now on sale and available at all Las Vegas Ticketmaster locations (select Smith's Food and Drug Centers and Ritmo Latino). To charge by phone with a major credit card, call Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000. Tickets also are available for purchase at mandalaybay.com or ticketmaster.com.

Providence's Knickerbocker Park - Starting at 6 p.m.

The free July 4th event is a fun family outing and features a fireworks show, panoramic city views, the crowd-pleasing Parametrics, contests for all ages, food and treat vendors, and Knickerbocker Park activities. Picnic baskets, chairs and coolers are welcome. No alcohol, glass or outside fireworks, including sparklers, are allowed. Pyrotecnico, one of the leading U.S. fireworks display, pyrotechnics and special effects companies, is creating the special 12-minute show. Bozarth Elementary School will sell red, white and blue glow-in-the-dark necklaces and bracelets for donations.

Caesars Palace - 9 p.m.

Start the Summer Celebration this 4th of July with fireworks from the High Roller at The LINQ, Caesars Entertainment's 550-foot tall observation wheel, the landmark of the new open-air shopping, dining and entertainment district. High Roller riders will be able to view the Strip's only two firework displays starting at approximately 9 p.m. at Caesars Palace and 9:30 p.m. at The LINQ parking lot off Koval Lane.

Join us to celebrate the first annual 4th of July Summer Celebration at The LINQ and High Roller with host Jeff Civillico, special performance by Jubilee from Bally's Las Vegas and the Nellis Honor Guard followed by a spectacular firework display from the back lot at The LINQ.

Stratosphere Casino, Hotel and Tower - 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower's Fun on the Fourth extravaganza will offer something special for both adults and families. Adults will experience an unforgettable pool party, live concert and spectacular fireworks display. Or they can sip cocktails while watching fireworks from Level 107 Lounge's unique point of view high above the Vegas Strip. Families with children will be able to enjoy the fireworks from Stratosphere's Indoor Observation deck.

Red Rock Resort - After 9 p.m.

Continuing its 4th of July tradition, Station Casinos' will once again host the largest 4th of July fireworks show in Southern Nevada on Friday, July 4 after 9 p.m. for the entire community to enjoy.

The "We Love Locals' July 4th Fireworks Blast" will be a nine-minute fireworks show to celebrate Station Casinos' love and affection for its team members and guests as well as to honor the nation's 238th birthday. The fireworks shows will go off on the east and west sides of town at Green Valley Ranch Resort and Red Rock Resort.

The fireworks show will be produced by the Grucci's of New York, one of the premiere fireworks companies in the world who annually produces the 4th of July fireworks events as well past hotel-casino openings on behalf of Station Casinos.

Lake Las Vegas - July 5 at 9 p.m.

Live music and fireworks at The Village are complimentary; we do recommend getting here early for parking. If you prefer to stay near our hotel for the fireworks, there will be an area on the 9th hole of Reflection Bay golf course (a short walk through the Andalusian Garden to the east side of our resort) where you'll be able to see them. 

Henderson

Mission Hills Park - Starting at 6 p.m.

The City of Henderson will celebrate our country's independence with their Annual Fourth of July Celebration. This year's fireworks will be set off at Mission Hills Park.

There will be free continuous shuttle service starting at 5:30 from Foothill High School at 800 College Drive.

Don't be late the fun begins at 6:00 p.m., with two stages of entertainment & much more.

Hills Center Drive - 8:30 a.m.

Residents are invited to show their colors at The Summerlin Council Patriotic Parade taking place Friday, July 4. Celebrating 20 years, the Patriotic Parade features more than 70 entries including marching bands, floats, giant Macy's-style inflatable balloons and children's favorite storybook and cartoon characters.

Outside Las Vegas Area

Boulder City - Starting at 6 p.m.

66th ANNUAL Boulder City Damboree Celebration "Wings of Freedom." Events start at 7 a.m. and continue throughout the day. The main event begins at 6 p.m. at Veterans' Memorial Park at 1650 Bunchanen Blvd. Fireworks at 9 p.m.

Laughlin - About 9 p.m.

The skies over Laughlin will transform into a spectacular canvas of color during Rockets Over the River on Friday, July 4. The magnificent pyrotechnic display begins at dusk (around 9 p.m.) with fireworks launched and mirrored over the Colorado River. Patriotic music will also be broadcast simultaneously by Laughlin hotels and radio stations: KFLG, LUCKY98, The Knack, KAAA/KZZZ and KSTAR.

This all-American celebration is free and open to the public with the best viewing spots located along the Laughlin River Walk and Laughlin hotels and casinos.

Mesquite - 6 p.m.

Eureka Casino Resort is proud to host "Rockets over the Red Mesa" on Friday, July 4. The Nevada POPS Orchestra will be back again this year with a full 31-piece orchestra performing a 75-minute program, highlighting 100 years of American music.

This free event will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a community vendor village and DJ, along with a charity hot dog eating contest. The celebration continues with a live performance from the Nevada POPS Orchestra at 8:00 p.m., followed by fireworks at 9:00 p.m. The orchestra will accompany the fireworks show to celebrate Independence Day in true American style. Everyone is invited to attend this free event. Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs to the viewing area, which will be set up behind the Eureka Casino Resort.

Primm - Dusk

Primm Valley Casino Resorts is lighting up the sky with spectacular fireworks show in celebration of Independence Day. The sixth annual show, starting at dusk, will be set against the desert scenery and away from the city lights allowing viewers an extravagant show. The Resort partners with Pyrotecnico to bring the most vibrant firework shows that have lasted an astounding 18 minutes in previous years.

While the fireworks start at dusk, the fun is open all day. All are encouraged to arrive early for prime viewing spots in the Star of the Desert Arena parking lot at Buffalo Bill's and to enjoy the fun. Rides and attractions, including The Desperado, will be open all day.

Pahrump - Starting at 8 p.m.

Pahrump is known for its spectacular oooh's and ahhh's fireworks show. It is one of the longest displays of fireworks you will ever see.

Celebrate our freedom with a day in the park and enjoy great food, arts and crafts vendors, live entertainment, beer garden, bounce house and more.
