Toledo Police have located a stolen van which they say contains potentially hazardous pond treatment chemicals in east Toledo.

TPD announced they were searching for the van just after 4 p.m. Wednesday. They say it was stolen from Swanton on Tuesday, and contains 50 pounds of pond treatment chemicals which could be harmful or even deadly if ingested or absorbed.

Police say the van contains about 50 pounds of Clearigate, Aquathol K, Tribune Herbicide and Hydrothol.  The van was found on Halstead Street in east Toledo around 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say all of the chemicals were still sealed in containers when the van was located. The van was towed away to a police impound lot.
