HOLLYWOOD, CA (FOX) - Wednesday marks five years since the death of Michael Jackson.

Fans of the "King of Pop" are marking his passing by leaving flowers, cards and candles at his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The trailblazing entertainer known for hits Billie Jean and Bad had a career spanning more than three decades.

Jackson died from cardiac arrest in 2009 after a lethal overdose of surgical anesthetic and various sedatives.

He was 50 years old.
