A Henderson man was identified as the person who died in a head-on wreck at Lake Mead National Recreation Area.
The Clark County Coroner's Office did not immediately release a cause of death for 51-year-old Kenneth Whiteaker.
According to National Park Service spokesperson Christie Vanover, dispatchers received a call of the incident on Northshore Road around Mile Marker 2, near state routes 146 and 147, at about 10:15 a.m. Monday.
Crews from NPS and Henderson Fire Department arrived to find one person dead and two others injured. The two injured motorists were flown to area hospitals by Mercy Air.
Northshore Road was shut down in both directions between Lakeshore Road and Lake Mead Boulevard. Vanover noted the road is expected to remain closed for most of the afternoon.
