The Clark County Coroner's Office on Thursday released the identity of a 40-year-old man who was shot and killed at a west Las Vegas gas station.
Medical examiners said Santiago Spicer Flanders died of multiple gunshot wounds as a result of a homicide.
According to Las Vegas Metro police, Flanders was the victim of a shooting that took place just before 11 p.m. Tuesday in the 3700 block of West Tropicana Avenue.
Citing witnesses and evidence, police said the victim parked his car at the gas pumps and remained there for about 30 minutes. The man then got out of his vehicle and was standing nearby when he was shot.
The victim was rushed to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Police said two suspects got away in a tan-colored, four-door sedan.
The victim's identity was not immediately released.
