LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Two people were trapped in a van after it rolled over in a two-vehicle wreck on U.S. 95, Nevada Highway Patrol said Friday.

Trooper Jeremie Elliott reported the incident at 8:45 a.m. on the side of northbound U.S. 95 near Ann Road.

Tim Szymanski of Las Vegas Fire and Rescue added the van drove off the road and through a fence, eventually ending up on Sky Pointe Road.

Two people in the van were trapped but were alert with first responders, according to Szymanski.

Two other people in another vehicle involved in the wreck were treated for non-life-threatening injuries, Elliott said.

The wreck forced the closure of the northbound U.S. 95 on-ramp at Ann.
