Two people were killed on Thursday night in a plane crash near the Echo Bay Airport, located within Lake Mead National Recreation Area, according to Clark County Fire Department.
The two-seat plane crashed before 9 p.m. and was still on fire when first responders arrived. The bodies were found outside of the plane.
Emergency crews from the National Park Service, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Search and Rescue and Clark County Fire responded to the crash.
