LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Las Vegas Metro police and the Clark County coroner on Monday officially identified the suspects in a shooting on Sunday that claimed the lives of two officers and a shopper.

Police said Jared and Amanda Miller came to Las Vegas from Washington state in January. They lived at an apartment complex located on Bruce Street near Fremont Street.

Jared Miller's neighbors told FOX5 he was very vocal about his hatred for police and the government.

Las Vegas police and FBI agents on Sunday evening raided two units at the Oak Creek Apartments - one rented by the suspects and the unit located next door, where a woman named Kelly Fielder lives.

Fielder said the Millers had been staying with her for the past few weeks because they couldn't afford rent. She said that when they left her apartment early Sunday morning, she had no idea they had embarked on a mission to murder police officers.

"I feel totally responsible," Fielder said.

Fielder said that if she could travel back in time, she would warn police about the countless threats she heard Jared Miller make.

"He totally said, ‘I'm gonna kill a cop. I'm gonna put a Swastika on them, I'm gonna kill a cop - just wait.' And he goes, ‘Just wait till I kill all these cops.' That's what he kept saying," Fielder said.

Fielder said she never took those threats seriously. The Millers rounded up their guns, a backpack full of ammunition and left her home Sunday morning.
