HENDERSON, NV (FOX5) -
Police found 54 marijuana plants and arrested one person as part of a bust of a suspected grow operation at a Henderson home on Thursday.
Las Vegas Metro police and officers from other jurisdictions served a search warrant on a home in the 300 block of Pinnacle Court, near Green Valley Parkway and Warm Springs Road, about 6:45 p.m., according to Lt. Laz Chavez of Metro.
According to police, officers discovered the plants as well as five pounds of packaged marijuana and a few grams of methamphetamine.
Police were also seen pulling numerous chemical containers and other materials from the home's garage.
Police arrested 46-year-old Thomas Asgeirsson. According to Chavez, Asgeirsson is expected to be booked on four felony counts.
