The man who left the scene of a deadly four-vehicle accident on Wednesday spoke with FOX5 from behind bars on Friday.

Meanwhile, the woman killed in the wreck has been identified as 74-year-old Dare Farr.

According to police, Edward Barber T-boned an Oldsmobile at the intersection of Charleston Avenue and Arville Street. The Oldsmobile then slammed into a bar.

Surveillance video shows Barber calmly enter the bar in the midst of the commotion. He walked out the other side and disappeared.

Barber turned himself in the following day and was booked on charges including fleeing the scene of an accident, driving without a license and driving without proof of insurance.

Barber agreed to speak with FOX5 from behind bars at the Clark County Detention Center, but he was extremely agitated during the interview, and clearly distraught over the situation.

"It seems like you guys are gonna pump this up and make me out to be a bad guy. I can't take this anymore," Barber said.

"Man, this is crazy. I haven't even talked to my family. I think my family's coming to see me, and I get three news channels coming to see me. I ain't' right, man. I'm sorry, I can't do this, man. I really can't do this," Barber continued.

Despite repeated requests, Barber wouldn't discuss the accident or his decision to flee following it.

The driver of the Oldsmobile was taken to University Medical Center with moderate injuries. He has not been identified.

Barber is scheduled to make his first court appearance next week.
