LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
The second day of the trial of Jason "Blu" Griffith brought testimony from a number of key witnesses, including two Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department detectives and one of Griffith's former girlfriends.
Griffith is charged in the death of his ex-girlfriend, Debora Flores Narvaez, who was a backup dancer for the Fantasy show at the Luxor hotel-casino.
Kalae Casorso told jurors she broke off her relationship with Griffith after spotting him with Flores Narvaez on Valentine's Day, 2010.
She went on to say she heard frequently from Griffith after their breakup, and that he would often complain about Flores Narvaez.
Casorso said that on Dec. 15, 2010, Griffith called and asked if she could store something at her house. That something, Casorso said, was a large blue bin that Griffith brought over with his roommate, Louis Colombo.
"[I] asked what the heck it was. He asked if I really wanted to know, and I said yes. He kind of looked at me and said it was Debbie. I was shocked and my head started to spin," Casorso said.
Jurors later listened to an interview Griffith did with a homicide detective following his arrest.
