LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Authorities released the identity of a 74-year-old woman who died after a hit-and-run wreck involving four vehicles on Charleston Boulevard on Wednesday.

According to the Clark County Coroner's Office, Dare Stenberg Farr, of Las Vegas, died as a result of a blunt force trauma as a result of an accident.

Farr and a 54-year-old driver were inside an Oldsmobile when the vehicle was struck by a GMC Yukon just after 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Charleston and Arville Street, according to Las Vegas Metro police.

Police said the crash caused the Oldsmobile to slam into a wall of a bar. Citing witnesses, detectives said the driver of the GMC also struck another vehicle before exiting, briefly speaking with the Oldsmobile driver and then running into the bar.

Police said the man, who was later identified as 49-year-old Edward Barber, fled the area through the bar's rear door.

Farr was rushed to University Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead. The Oldsmobile driver was also treated at UMC with moderate injuries. Police said the other motorists involved did not require treatment.

Barber turned himself in to Metro's Area Command on Thursday. He is expected to be charged with failing to stop at the scene of an accident involving death of injury, driving without a license and driving without proof of insurance.
