Police: Man stabbed in attempted holdup on Sahara

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A man was rushed to a Las Vegas hospital after he was stabbed in an apparent attempted robbery, police said on Tuesday.

Laura Meltzer with Las Vegas Metro police said a call came in of the incident just after 1:30 p.m. in the 4300 block of East Sahara Avenue.

According to Meltzer, officers arrived to find a man in front of a business suffering from a stab wound.

The victim was transported to Sunrise Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police noted the stabbing appeared to be related to an attempted robbery.

Police did not immediately disclose information on a suspect.
