3 fire departments respond to warehouse fire near North Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Clark County, Las Vegas and North Las Vegas fire departments all responded to a fire near North Las Vegas on Sunday morning.

At approximately 5:08 a.m., Clark County Fire Department responded to a fire after heavy flames and smoke were reported coming from a warehouse at 4460 Riviera Ridge Avenue near north Lamb Boulevard and east Craig Road.

Deputy Fire Chief Jon Klassen said, a second alarm was immediately called and Las Vegas and North Las Vegas Fire Departments assisted with the fire.

Firefighters say within 40 minutes the fire was brought under control, but the business sustained heavy damage as a result of the fire.

No injuries were reported during this event.

Damage from this fire is estimated at 500,000 and the cause remains under investigation.
