HENDERSON, NV (FOX5) -

There were no injuries after a small explosion was reported at a recycling center in Henderson on Tuesday.

The small explosion and resulting fire happened at Nevada Recycling on Sunset Road, just west of Boulder Highway, some time in the morning hours, according to Henderson Fire Department.

Authorities told FOX5 workers there were shuffling recyclables when a small blast within a recycling container went off. It was not immediately known what had exploded, but officials did not believe propane gas was involved.

Other materials at the recycling center caught fire as a result.

Henderson police blocked one lane of Sunset Road while crews doused the fire.
