Police: Man shot outside fast-food restaurant

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Las Vegas Metro police responded to a shooting outside a Jack in the Box restaurant on Decatur Boulevard near Tropicana Avenue just after 9 p.m. Tuesday.

According to police, a man in his 20s ran into the restaurant with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Police said the victim was shot in the parking lot of the restaurant and that the shooting may have been gang-related.

The victim was taken to University Medical Center. It's not believed his injuries are life-threatening.

Police said three Hispanic men were seen running away from the restaurant following the shooting. They have not identified any suspects, and no one has been taken into custody as of Tuesday night.

Police closed the restaurant as they investigated.
