LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Brazyl Ward, the 6-year-old girl critically injured in a hit-and-run crash on Halloween, is coming home on Friday, according to her family.

Brazyl's mother earlier indicated she was to return home on Saturday in a Facebook post. It's now anticipated she'll return home between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. Friday.

On Oct. 31, Brazyl and her family had just left a trick-or-treat event at their church in Las Vegas when the girl was struck in the street.

A witness said the driver who hit Brazyl never slowed down.

It was a month before Brazyl opened her eyes. In December, she was discharged from the hospital to a rehabilitation facility.

"All in all, in one lump statement, this has been an absolute miracle," said Tiffany Ward, Brazyl's mother, the day Brazyl was sent to the rehab facility. "You wouldn't have been able to tell us a couple [of] weeks ago that she would be leaving the day after Christmas."

Brazyl's mother said her birthday is on April 3 and that a big party has been planned near the date.

Investigators have made little progress in the search for the vehicle. A friend of the Ward family even offered a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the driver's arrest.
