Authorities released the name of a man who was struck and killed while outside his vehicle on U.S. 95 on Monday.
The Clark County Coroner's Office did not immediately disclose a cause of death for Kadar Brown, 38.
According to Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Jeremie Elliott, before 6 p.m., a trooper came to the area to assist a driver with a flat tire and found him lying on the 95 near Summerlin Parkway.
The person who struck the man pulled over past the scene of the accident. It was later determined that the driver suffered a diabetic episode, causing him to hit the Brown.
Troopers said Brown had just gotten a flat tire and was outside his vehicle when he was struck.
The victim was taken to University Medical Center Trauma. It was unclear if he died at the hospital or en route to the hospital.
