PHOENIX (AP) -

Revelers lined the downtown Phoenix streets in green for the city's annual St. Patrick's Day Parade.

The 31st Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade and Faire kicked off at 10 a.m. Saturday.

This year's theme is "Arizona Irish: Honor Our Heroes." The festivities included marching bands, Irish step dancers and several floats.

The parade route began at 3rd and East Sheridan Streets, went south on 3rd Street and ended on East Moreland Street.

There were collection sites at the Faire for a local food drive for St. Vincent de Paul.

The Phoenix St. Patrick's Day Parade has been a city tradition since 1984.
