PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Authorities are looking for a man who robbed a Phoenix grocery store Thursday night.

Phoenix police said the man, believed to be in his 20s, robbed one of the cashiers at the Bashas' store at Seventh Avenue and Osborn about 9 p.m. Thursday.

An off-duty officer happened to be shopping in the store at the time and called for backup.

Phoenix police said the suspect managed to get away with an undisclosed amount of money. He was wearing a gray, long-sleeve "hoody" and jeans.

If you have information, you're asked to call the Phoenix Police Department.
